Singularity

I am not a scientist by any stretch of the imagination. But I have a profound respect for the people who have given their life to science. That said, I read about science in bits and pieces when I can. I recently came across this stunning animated film on Maria Popova’s website The Marginalian. If you are a curious learner, go there, now.

The poem Singularity was written by Marie Howe, as an ode to Stephen Hawking’s trailblazing work. It is so BIG, that it makes me marvel at the minutiae that we dwell on so persistently. I hope you enjoy the beauty and messages of the piece. I find the simple elegance of it so compelling. Let me know if you do, too.
